Gum-Revealing Smile
Botox can be used to lengthen the upper lip and drop it down slightly in order to reduce the appearance of the gums when smiling. The success of this procedure depends on the original length of the lip and prominence of the gums, and is only ideal for certain patients.

Hyperhidrosis - Excessive Sweating

Hyperhidrosis
Excessive Sweating
Some people experience excessive sweating under their arms, which is also known as hyperhidrosis of the axillae. For the most part, this can be resolved using deodorants, antiperspirant creams, or gels. However, when topical treatments do not resolve this condition, Botox can be injected into the underarm area to reduce the activity of the local sweat glands.
Neck Laxity & Cervical Dystonia
We inject small amounts of Botox into the vertical neck muscles. This helps retract the muscles back which results in a tightened neck and smoother skin.

Nose Reshaping

Nose Shaping
Botox is commonly used to help lift the tip of the nose, decrease nasal flaring and thereby slim the nose. Botox can also be used on the sides of the nose on the “bunny lines” to decrease these lines and also slim the sides on the upper area of the nose. This procedure can last for about 3-5 months.
Jowls
We use a special technique to inject the muscles in the jaw which helps retract the tissue in the lower face back and up towards the ears. It’s a liquid mini-lower-face life!

Masseter Muscle Treatment

Masseter Muscle Treatment
TMJ
There are two main and extremely successful benefits of Botox injections into the masseters.
- It essentially stops the muscle from contracting and prevents grinding. As this happens, it gives an instant symptom relief and the jaw will feel more relaxed.
- Botox causes the muscle to shrink in size.

- Stay in an upright position, no inverting for about 4 hours
- There is no real downtime and you can immediately return to work.
- Do not rub the injected area for at least 6 hours as this can move the product.
- Strenuous activities such as exercising can be resumed in 6 hours.
- You may apply ice to the area – especially the lip area if treated.
- Swelling or redness is rare, but if it occurs, it will subside significantly within 24 hours.
- Bruising is uncommon but can occur and will typically resolve in 2-5 days.
- You may apply arnica gel on the area treated as well as take arnica orally if you want to decrease the likelihood of bruising and speed up the recovery.
- Bruising might be decreased by increasing use of vitamin K (K1, K2, K4), vitamin C, oral Arnica, vitamin D, bioflavonoids, and Zinc.
